A place I would like to share some concepts, ideas, puzzles that simulate the minds of those interested in Math - for competitions or fun.
Sides XY, YZ, ZX of the triangle XYZ are extended to B, C, A respectively to form another triangle ABC of area 8778 sq. cm.
Find the area of triangle XYZ.
1253.1 sq.m
Giving some idea about the logic you have followed will help me identify whether the method applied is fine or not. As far as the answer is concerned, it does not match
Assumed equilateral triangle and extended length corresponding to each side is equal to their length of the triangle. And following the procedure..!!!
